American Football: Watch the Inaugural Season

Elite Football League of India (EFLI) is gong to launch American football in India. The event would kick-start? in late November. The first edition of the EFLI will be hosted in Pune with eight teams participating from across leading Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Punjab and? Pune. Every team will be looking to popularize footbal in India. Every team will be looking to show their strength in two matches thereby taking the tally of total games to 56. There will also be two-off games deciding the top teams.

In fact, EFLI is the only sports league in India presenting American football in India. The Indian league is doing all the things right in popularizing the game in the sub-continent. The game would be run on the pattern of professional American Football League Schedule.

However, it will be tough work for the league in establishing the game in India as the country emotionally hung on the game of cricket.
