A 'Dungeon Crawler' Roleplay

So, what is this?

I stumbled across yet another of your dungeon crawler games. They're interesting. However, there's the fact that usually the character(s) is/are player-created, with no dialogue or such. In other words, they have no personalities of their own. I don't like this. However, I DO like the dungeon crawling aspect. So, I got the idea of making a roleplay based around it.

Basically, this is a fantasy roleplay centered around some ruins and the people who explore them. A 'dungeon crawler' roleplay. Your character is, most likely, a member of the Explorers' Guild. Exceptions are welcome, but make sure to discuss them with the Game Master beforehand. After all, it would be a shame to create a long description of your character only to have it rejected because something about the core idea simply doesn't fit.
The people of the Guild will explore the ruins with others, and return back to the nearby town periodically, to share information with the rest of the members, resupply, sell their findings, buy new equipment, and maybe simply socialize.
How you roleplay this is up to you. Do you want to focus on the social part of such an endeavor? Or do you want to find out the secrets of the ruins? Your choice.

The setting:

The town of Vahe.
Located in a large vale deep within the mountains, the town is mostly isolated from the rest of the world. Apart from occasional travelers and a few traveling merchants, it has little to do with the rest of the world. The town is completely independent, not affiliated with any nations. It is also self-sufficient, producing everyday goods needed for living comfortably by itself. The merchants who come to the town mostly sell luxuries and rarities, all very expensive. And what the merchants get in exchange for these items is often something even rarer. For Vahe has access to something that very few other towns have.
The valley is, you see, also home to a vast complex of ruins. Within these ruins are countless treasures to be discovered, both material ones such as gold and jewels, or magical artifacts, and things such as ancient knowledge. But the ruins are not safe for just anyone to explore. They are filled with traps that seem to work perfectly despite their ancientness. And providing an even greater threat, there are also dangerous monsters inhabiting the ruins. The rewards, however, are great enough for people to ignore the dangers.
The Explorers' Guild was founded in Vahe. Promising riches and adventure, people from all over the continent, from all fields of expertise, flowed into Vahe and joined the Guild. The Guild organized expeditions into the ruins. Many of the would-be-adventurers died quickly when faced with the dangers of the ruins, and the initial rush fueled by greed soon quieted down. Still, the more serious people continued to trickle into Vahe and into the guild. It became a group that was small, but filled with talented people. Still more join every month, with diverse motivations. Some want riches. Some wish to become famous. Some are driven by their lust for knowledge. Some have motives that aren't fully understood by anyone else. But they all share the same objective: to find whatever is in the deepest depths of the vast ruins

The characters:

Before joining in, you will obviously have to create a character. As mentioned before, it will most likely be a member of the Guild, though other characters are also welcome. You may be new to the Guild, or a senior member. However you like it the best. Though I will not allow everyone to be extremely skilled. Even if your character is a senior member, he/she is more likely better because of experience rather than just talent.
Most likely, the character is also a human. If you want to be a non-human, don't use the usual fantasy races such as elves and dwarves. Go with something original. Actually, I encourage creating your own race/species. Be creative.
Oh, one note: Humans do not have the inherent ability to use magic. Some other races might be different. Some humans do, however, manipulate magical energy through use of magical artifacts. By mastering the use of their chosen magical artifact, they can do many things. If you intend to make a magic user, keep this in mind.
And one more thing: Characters do get hurt. Characters can die. Your character is not invincible. Remember this.

The players:

Interested in joining? Well, there are certain things I want from the people I roleplay with.
First, you should be literate. The occasional mistake can be tolerated, but if you constantly keep making glaring mistakes, so that your messages are nigh-incomprehensible, well... It is a bit annoying. I do not have any specific requirements regarding post length. Longer messages are preferred, but I understand that sometimes others might not give you good material to work with -there might simply not be much to say. So the occasional short message is allowed, as long as they're not practically one-liners.
You should also be fairly active. Regular posting is necessary, so that others don't have to wait for a long, long time before they can post. I do not enforce strict posting orders, but if a character is interacting with another character, whose player happens to be inactive... Well, there's not much you can do. If, for some reason, you have to go inactive for some time, inform people about it. At least mention in the Out of Character thread that you will 'be away for two weeks', or something like that. DON'T disappear without saying a word.
And most of all, you have to be polite and cooperative. Roleplaying is not a one-person endeavor. It is about interacting with others to form a story. Thus it is absolutely necessary that you are capable of discussing things with others, willing to listen to them, and never start insulting them.
These are the usual things.

I also want creative people in this roleplay. People who can come up with their own material about the ruins and what is in them. And much more important than that, people who can come up with interesting characters. While this is based around 'dungeon crawling', this is about the characters that do the crawling, not about the crawling itself.

Myself:

I am an experienced roleplayer, with eight years or so of experience. I'm new to this site, however, having only discovered it a few months ago. I also write stories independently, having done so since I first began roleplaying. I have some experience as a Game Master, but nothing significant. I do believe that I am capable of handling this task. If, however, by some chance, a lot of people join this, I would appreciate a co-Game Master.

Well, that's it. Is there anyone who might be interested in this?
