Israel's chief of the military Medical Corps Gen. Itzik Kryce has praised the work of Bulgarian medics in saving the lives of those who were injured in the grave terrorist attack in Burgas.
"The condition of wounded Israelis is better than what we expected," stated Gen. Kryce at the Ben Gurion airport, where the first plane with wounded Israelis arrived.
"Bulgarians have taken care of them well. I can even say they saved their lives," added Israel's chief military doctor.
Wednesday afternoon a bomb exploded in a bus with Israeli tourists in Burgas, killing 7, sending 32 gravely wounded to hospital, and leaving about 70 further Israeli tourists to be treated at the airport.
